Would you like to know more about what Christians believe or how to live a Christian life? What about prayer? Or maybe you have questions about why we do certain things in the Sunday Service, or about the different denominations in the Christian Church, or Church history? Or anything else that leaves you wondering and asking……
During February I am offering a few Any Questions sessions on Thursday evenings, the 5th, 12th and 19th. If you would love to come but just can’t do Thursdays let me know. I can also set up a Zoom link.
I’d love to have your questions beforehand, but I also welcome them on the spur of the moment.
Lent Group ~ David
The destruction of Jerusalem and the Temple and the years of exile in Babylon were a disaster for the people of Israel. But in this time of pain and humiliation, through the teaching of prophets and psalms, their understanding of God deepened and widened. Often quoted in the New Testament, these writings have shaped our Christian faith. In our Lent Bible Study Group we shall be looking at these important writings in the Prophets and the Psalms.
Wednesday seems to be best evening, so we shall meet on four Wednesday evenings – February 25, March 4, 11 and 25 – 7.30 – 9.0 pm
